So during my mom's 2x/3x/yearly vacations to Japan we up to check on her house (my childhood home). That's the desert camry parked in the driveway. We had a nice chat with Steve the neighbor across the way. They're doing good and the kids are too (i babysat them before they grew up!)

The front lawn and fruit trees to the left. We used to grow corn, beans, squash, all sorts of devilish things to kids. Do you know what kind of chores we had to do? Hello, family garden! Kids these days have it easy- ok son, just get a high score on the PS3 and you'll double your allowance. Bullshit... my kids will hate life. It makes them stronger. They have friends to make them feel better.

The backyard. The bank on the left served as a shooting range, the pole was sparky's ground : )

So in first grade a broke part of this rock off, it kinda flaked. So i tried to glue it back on with Elmer's. Yeah, like that worked. But the glue is still there, 27 years later. Makes you wonder why the glue didn't work...

A view eastward to the next hill over. That hill sucked to walk up to get donations for the soccer league.
